Canon Pixma iP90v printer is the new version of Canon Pixma iP90 printer as indicated as ‘v’. It is the latest release in 2007.
Both iP90v and iP90 offers two alternatives to normal printing. If you are running out of black ink, these printers have a function to engage ‘save black ink’ mode which allows dark gray printing instead of normal black coloring. When you don’t have replacement cartridge ready to replace your empty black ink cartridge, ‘composite black mode’ is offered by these printers as an alternative. This mode mixes the colors in the color tank and prints document text in light purplish gray. These modes are handy options in such situations.
